Louis J. Jasper Jr

Born in Shamokin, PA in 1938. I am married 50 years to Sonja. We have four

children (3 boys & 1 girl), and four grandchildren (2 boys & 2 girls). We have

resided in Wrightsville, PA since 2004, and are members of Saint John Orthodox

Churchsince 2015. I have a BS in physics from Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J.; a M.S. in Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, N.J.; and a M.S. in Mathematics from Monmouth College, West Long Branch, N.J. I was a Radar specialist on two destroyers in the U.S. Navy 1956-1959. I worked as a research physicist with the Atomic Energy Commission in NJ from 1963-1967, and the Army Research Laboratory in NJ and MD from 1967-2000 (retired). I am an inventor with over 50 patents. I have also published numerous technical papers.

Since retirement I have taken on several hobbies and projects. I have two main hobbies: Model railroading and mathematics.

In the upper right corner is my Family Crest from my mother's branch of the family tree. In the lower left corner are Sonja (age 22) & me (age 20).
